Ryan Hand - Biog

Ryan is a born entertainer and multifaceted creative with the versatility of a Swiss army knife. He’s a TV& Radio presenter, DJ, author and songwriter, with a few strings to his bow.

His career started in 2008 as a runner with BBC NI, but it was 2017 when Hand got his big break as a presenter on ITV's Cannonball, alongside Freddie Flintoff, Maya Jama, Frankie Bridge and Radzi.

Ever since Ryan's brought his own brand of witty, energetic fun to programmes such as BBC’s The One Show, ITV’s This Morning and BBC Food Fest, where he enjoys roles as a TV presenter and roving reporter and he also presents competitions across daytime on ITV.

Not only is Ryan a highly experienced presenter, he’s a musician with several tracks featured on ITV’s Love Island and across UK Radio, with releases including ‘Remedy’, ‘Burnin Up’ and ‘So Deep'.

Musically Hand is highly educated and found a home at Q Radio hosting weekend breakfast from 2022 - 2024 where he brought his musical knowledge and silly antics to the Northern Irish airwaves.

As a DJ Ryan has had many career highs, playing at The Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity in France, where he spun tunes for Tesla Tycoon Elon Musk and singer John Legend coming onto stage.

A regular behind the decks for Nike, River Island and John Lewis, Ryan is no stranger to big crowds. He’s performed alongside BBC Radio 2’s Sarah Cox at Camden’s iconic Roundhouse and in front of 1 million people at Pride London.

The Irishman spent his early years cutting his teeth on London’s comedy circuit whilst also warming up audiences on ITV’s Loose Women. His sharp sense of humour has made Hand a bankable corporate event host for the likes of Bada Bingo, The Tall Ships, UKinBound and Bank of Ireland.

A trained journalist and avid writer, Ryan has also published a kids book, releasing his debut novel ‘Stardust: Amazing Archie The Singing Sensation.' via Pegasus Publishers in 2023.

His acting credits include voice over and commercial work for Virgin Media, Kenwood, Kellogg’s, The National Lottery, and Ryan has earned acting roles on E4's Body Fixers, BBC's The Fall and on stage with The Ulster Orchestra.

Ryan is an official ambassador for Marie Curie and a fitness fanatic who regularly runs marathons for the charity, raising money in memory of his mum, aunt Eileen and cousin Nolene. He enjoys any form of physical challenge and is a die hard Liverpool fan.
